In California, Victor Valley College has installed a 1 Mwatt concentrated solar pv power system from Solfocus. Students can learn about solar power technology in a real world setting as well as be happy in the knowledge that their school is setting an example for education facilities in the U.S. and around the world.For students of other colleges and university it would be a great idea to talk to your administrators and professors about your schools plans to move to clean energy.
Victor Valley College lies on the southern edge of the Mojave Desert and is located directly to the south of Spring Valley Lake. The college is located at the most southeastern point in the City of Victorville. The San Bernardino and Los Angeles mountain ranges lie approximately 15 miles to the south, southeast, and southwest of the college.
