You do not hear a lot about fuel cell technology for home use compared to automotive. If you have a source of clean hydrogen, preferable made from clean electricity and water, then you can have clean electricity from a hydrogen fuel cell. It should be interesting to see if home fuel cell generation catches on in the market place in the coming years.
If however you are making hydrogen from natural gas or buying from the gas company it is anything but clean.
