The Komatsu Solar Project is a 13.2 MW solar photovoltaic power plant to be built on one site in the Ishikawa Prefecture of Japan.
The closing of the Italian refinancing largely completes the optimization of Etrion’s 60 MW Italian solar portfolio.
As previously announced, Etrion completed construction of the 70 megawatt (“MW”) Salvador solar park in northern Chile (“Project Salvador”) in November 2014, several months ahead of schedule and under budget.
Project Salvador is the world’s largest solar PV power plant based on spot market electricity revenues and is the second-largest solar park connected in Chile.
Shizukuishi is a 24.7 MW utility-scale solar PV power plant to be built in the Iwate Prefecture of Japan. Construction-related works are expected to commence in October 2014 and the solar project is expected to be operational by the end of 2016
