PV Salvador power plant is expected to produce approximately 200 gigawatt-hours of solar electricity per year
As previously announced, Etrion completed construction of the 70 megawatt (“MW”) Salvador solar park in northern Chile (“Project Salvador”) in November 2014, several months ahead of schedule and under budget.
Each one consists of 110 MW of solar-thermal capacity using a concentrating solar tower structure with heat storage, and a 100 MW photovoltaic plant.
To meet the demand, SunEdison will be investing more than $700 million USD to develop 350 megawatts of utility scale solar photovoltaic power plants throughout the country.
