Commercial Solar Thermal Systems being installed in Florida

The solar distribution division of Solar Energy Initiatives has instigated the installation of ten solar thermal hot water systems as part of the Northeast Florida Community Action Agency (NFCAA) weatherisation assistance programme in the city of Jacksonville in Florida.

Executive director of NFCAA John Edwards said the project will seek additional funding opportunities to expand effort in the coming months. Those involved in the project include the Community Rehabilitation Center Institute, not-for-profit community training partner Northwest Support Services and SNRY Solar.

‘These installations signify a sign that the work being done in North Jacksonville is paying dividends,’ said president of SNRY Solar, Eric Johnson.
