A Career Starts With Renewable Energy Graduate Programs.
Students in Wind Energy Technology benefit from various wind turbine trainers and a simulator that allows remote operation of a wind farm via the Internet. Plus, Ecotech Institute is home to a 20-ton Eichoff gearbox, provided by Siemens, that gives students the ability to perform hands-on inspections and troubleshooting.
The Ecotech building is LEED-gold certificated from the U.S. Green Building Council and includes 12 rooftop solar panels and eight wind turbines generating more than 65,000-kilowatt hours of electricity each year.
