Have you ever tried to talk to someone about the climate change and what the world may be like in the near future if we do not do something different? I have and often you find the response is a glazing over of the eyes and the subject gets changed rather quickly.

It does seem that we do not want to think about the implications of global CO2 levels going above 400 parts per million ( a new milestone we just passed in 2013 – congratulations to us..). All of the ice at both of the poles has started melting at an alarming rate.

So many of us live in coastal cities and some are near or at sea level now.
