Suffice it to say that Bucks Star beer is no ordinary brew, or least the company believes that they have something special brewing.
Bucks Star is a microbrewery in Buckinghamshire, England, that prides itself on using only the best quality malted barley, hops and yeast. The beer is handmade, focusing on quality and bringing out the fullest flavor.
And the brewery itself is run on solar energy.
“We’re very excited about launching this business,” says Datis, who owns and manages Bucks Star.
Our beer offers a bold, fresh taste because we’re passionate about brewing beer and we pour our heart and soul into every bottle. It’s full of flavor, brewed to perfection every time.
Bucks Star recently launched #BeerByYou to involve people passionate about craft beer and brewing and to give them the opportunity of submitting a recipe that Bucks Star will brew commercially and is encouraging beer-lovers to support this project. They are trying to raise $4,388 US towards their next beer and have initiated a Kickstarter campaign to aid with funding.
The Kickstarter page can be viewed at www.kickstarter.com/projects/671167500/beerbyyou-come-brew-with-us.
“We want you to become part of our journey and help make this happen,” Datis says.
Donations of any amount are welcome. For a contribution of $44 US, backers can champion a new beer, having their names printed on a T-shirt made specifically for this beer. It will be promoted on the Bucks Star website.
A $71 US pledge is good for the T-shirt plus an opportunity to submit a beer style or recipe and to get involved in a pilot brew.
“If you are very passionate about beer, we’re giving you an opportunity to enter your recipe,” says Datis.
We’re allowing 20 entrants to submit a beer style or recipe. Five of those will be brewed on our pilot setup and one lucky winner can come and assist our head brewer and brew the beer in our 10-barrel brew house.
