The London Array – ( Solar Thermal Magazine)
Not far off the coast of England there are a group of 175 huge wind turbines that each tower 147 meters in height. This extreme height allows the wind turbines access to the strongest and most consistent winds in the area.
The electricity produced is connected to shore by an undersea cable system where it is used in the city of London to add clean energy to the countries power grid. In this video you will learn about the London Array and see first hand the scope of this clean energy project.
