This video is a bit of a commercial for Schneider Electric I will agree, but you have to admit they are doing some really important work with their sponsorship of the Solar Decathlon teams. At the same time they are testing their new smart microgrid products within a real world multi house environment so it is very much a win win situation.
The 2014 Solar Decathlon competition was held in Versailles, France ( great place for any event right?).
The event challenged 20 university teams from 16 countries from all over the world to build the sustainable city of the future. See which country took home the trophy for the most sustainable home design and build.
