The Renault Zoe all electric has several levels of charging speeds available ranging from a regular 4 hour charge to a 30 minute rapid charge that gets you to 80% of a full charge.

 

The Zoe starts at under 14,000 Euros and starts saving the consumer money as soon as they drive it off the lot.

The intermediate fast charge unit gets the car ready to go ( 80%) in just 1 hour. Either of these types of charges will give the owner a 90 mile range in the warm weather and 60 in the winter.
