Solar Car Challenge South Africa ( Solar Thermal Magazine).
Minister of Science and Technology, Naledi Pandor, has officially started the Sasol Solar Challenge in Tshwane, South Africa. The race, which lasts for eight days, began in Pretoria and will end in Cape Town.
Ten cars are expected to race, involving 300 individuals in different teams. Pandor says the project also encourages young people to work in teams.
