Safety and Rescue Training in the Wind Energy Industry

As you can imagine safety in the wind energy turbine installation and maintenance industry is very important. For example the widely used GE 1.5-megawatt model, for example, consists of 116-ft blades atop a 212-ft tower for a total height of 328 feet. The blades sweep a vertical airspace of just under an acre.

Ropeworks specializes in safety at height & rescue training specific to the wind industry. Training is delivered in our purpose-built training center, on our custom mobile training tower or in the client’s wind turbine. Ropeworks conducts its own industry-leading research and testing to develop tools and techniques that are effective, practical and field-tested. Ropeworks instructors are certified professionals and skilled educators who actively work at height.
