Franklin Energy Establishes Scholarship for Engineering and Environmental Science Scholars
Franklin Energy Services, LLC, a national energy efficiency program implementation firm, is pleased to announce its establishment of the annual Energy Efficiency Experts of Tomorrow scholarship program.
“Expertise is the driving force behind our success,” said Paul Schueller, Franklin Energy chief executive officer. “We continue to invest in ways to best serve our clients – and that extends to supporting education. These students are the industry’s experts of tomorrow. Whether it be through our strong internship program or this new scholarship opportunity, we are giving future talent an extra push in the right direction and the confidence to keep pushing their careers forward into the workforce.”
The application window is open from now until Jan. 15, 2015. Applicants must currently be enrolled post-secondary juniors or seniors with a declared major in engineering or environmental science. The full entry criteria and application are available at www.scholarsapply.org/franklinenergy. Four recipients will be selected by a non-biased third party panel, each receiving $5,000 towards their education.
