Suqian will build a facility to manufacture Ascent’s proprietary Copper-Indium-Gallium-Selenium (CIGS) photovoltaic modules on flexible thin films. Ascent and Suqian will also form a joint venture entity (JV) in which Ascent’s share will grow progressively up to 80% based on an ascribed value of Ascent’s contributions to the JV.

Construction has begun on a large-scale, 2.316 MW solar array to be built on 13 acres of a decommissioned, capped landfill in West Nyack for the Town of Clarkstown. This solar installation will be the first of its kind built on a landfill in the State of New York.

This 140 MW DC utility-scale solar farm will produce approximately 173,000 MWh of electricity per year and power approximately 16,409 Canadian homes. It will also contribute to a cleaner environment by displacing approximately 119,292 metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions annually.
