National Clean Energy Summit

Las Vegas, NV — “National Clean Energy Summit 7.0: Partnership & Progress” is pleased to announce two additional speakers to the seventh annual conference at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas on September 4. Top policymakers and industry leaders will join Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and keynote speaker former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton to generate ideas that bring the public and private sectors together leading to further growth of our clean energy economy.

As Counselor to President Barack Obama, Chief of Staff to President Bill Clinton, and former Chair and President of Center for American Progress, John Podesta has a broad perspective on clean energy policy. John has been a featured speaker during all of the previous Summits.

Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack will also join the clean energy conversation with a rich understanding of the effects of climate change on farming, and ideas about developing a resilient economy in a carbon constrained world.
