BOSTON, MA-Solar power market leader GOAL ZERO is partnering with Life is good and The Rose Kennedy Greenway Conservancy to offer an eco-friendly solution to Bostonians facing a mobile device charging dilemma – public solar powered charging stations known as Street Charge.
Street Charge features a modern design and is powered by the latest in solar panel and battery technology from Goal Zero. People can conveniently charge their phones and hand-held devices using built-in USB ports and charging tips. Solar panels and lithium batteries are elegantly incorporated into each station to ensure that there is juice for people to power up – day or night.

We couldn’t think of a better place to debut Street Charge in Boston than Dewey Square, the beautiful open plaza at the southern end of the Greenway.
Street Charge was piloted in New York City last year in public parks, city squares, and university campuses. It gave people a perfect place to relax and recharge. Teaming up with Life is good was the logical next step to bring this technology to Boston.
