Extensive solar energy package for home owners.
Thalheim, Germany. In the framework of a new cooperation, OBI and Hanwha Q CELLS are launching an extensive solar energy package for home owners interested in installing a photovoltaic (PV) rooftop system. Effective immediately, the Hanwha Q CELLS PV kits are available in selected OBI stores in Germany.
The 4.5 kWp PV kit contains 18 high-yield Q CELLS Q.PRO modules, a three-phase inverter, a mounting system, as well as the necessary electronic equipment.
For each participating OBI store, Hanwha Q CELLS has contracted a local energy consultant for the assessment of rooftop size, pitch and orientation. Following the recommendation of the energy consultant, the system is implemented by an installer who is connected to the Hanwha Q CELLS installer network. To ease investment in the system, OBI offers zero per cent-financing over the first year on the PV package.
“Being a self-sufficient clean energy producer brings long-term advantages for both home-owners and the environment, and we are very excited to be presenting this opportunity,” said Jochen Ludwig, Managing Director Corporate Category Management at OBI GmbH & Co. Deutschland KG.
Our customers trust us to deliver the best solutions for their homes; unwavering quality and a straightforward installation process have been our highest priorities throughout this process. With the solar power package from Hanwha Q CELLS, we have achieved our objectives.
“Through the cooperation with OBI, Hanwha Q CELLS strikes a new path to trigger further deployment of solar energy in Germany,” said Charles Kim, CEO of Hanwha Q CELLS.
The process of selecting and installing a PV rooftop system can be perceived as complex and time-consuming by many home-owners. With the PV package from Hanwha Q CELLS readily available in the extensive network of the highly trusted OBI chain, we are addressing a customer group we might not have been able to reach through traditional channels.
