International Research Project on Solar-Assisted Hydrothermal Gasification Processes
Airlight Energy involved in an international research project on solar assisted hydrothermal gasification processes for the production of biofuel and pure water
Airlight Energy will be the main industrial partner of an international research project on solar assisted hydrothermal gasification processes for the production of biofuel and pure water starting from wet biomass coming from waste water, sewage and manure. The project, financed by the Competence Center Energy and Mobility (CCEM-CH), will include the Industrial Energy System Laboratory of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne (EPFL), the Solar Technology Laboratory, the Catalytic Process Engineering and the Solid Waste Treatment groups of the Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI), the State University of Campinas, Brazil, and BTV Biomass Technology Group BV, Netherlands.
