Evacuated Solar Tube System Collector System Announced for Los Angeles Air Force Base
SunMaxx Solar announced this week that the company will soon be starting a large military base solar thermal system installation at the Los Angeles Air Force Base in Los Angeles, California. Scheduled to be completed by the middle of 2011, the installation will be for a domestic hot water and space heating system, and will be comprised of 96 SunMaxx ThermoPower-VHP30 evacuated tube solar collectors.
The total collector square footage amounts to over 5,300 square feet.
The system will be installed by 411 GreenWave, a local authorized SunMaxx solar thermal systems installer.
